Pinch Recording - Long Island City, NY

Pinch Recording has opened their new world class recording studio facility in New York City, owned and operated by recording engineer E. Scott Lindner.

The studio includes a spacious live room with a well maintained Yamaha C7X grand piano, lots of vintage instruments and amps, and a nice mic collection. There are also two iso-booths, a dedicated amp room, and a comfortable lounge.

The control room features a true Reflection Free Zone design employing ATC’s SCM150A monitors, creating one of the most accurate listening environments in New York City. The centerpiece is an API 2448 console, and along with analog tape machines, Pro Tools and a large assortment of outboard gear, Pinch has everything you need to record or mix your new record.

All acoustic treatments for the project were built and installed by Tony Brett and his team at Brett Acoustics. Audio and technical wiring was installed by Canova Audio, and grounding and power design is by Howard Hoyt of Pro Audio Engineering.
