AMA Recording - Anguilla

Ensconced on the pristine Caribbean island of Anguilla, The AMA Center is an international haven for innovation, technology and the arts. The 11,000 square foot facility is comprised of AMA Recording, with its two world-class recording studios, a music production and engineering academy (Anguilla Music Academy), a state-of-the-art video production studio, a technology and coding lab, a gracious multi-purpose event space, and the first Grammy Museum Gallery outside of the United States.

AMA Recording's Ocean Studio A features a naturally lit 21' x 33' tracking room, huge control room, two large isolation rooms and various isolated sound locks, a Steinway B grand piano and a full compliment of instruments, microphones, and state-of-the-art equipment centered around a 32 channel API Legacy AXS Console and ATC SMC200 Monitors/Subs.

Geared for music production, programming, mixing, as well as tracking, AMA Recording's Sunset Studio B features a 9' x 16' tracking space, sound lock, and a spacious control room outfitted with 12 channels of top-of-the-line mic preamps, a choice of leading DAW software, and Guzauski-Swist soffited monitors.

In addition to AMA Recording, the AMA Center is the home of the Anguilla Music Academy, and the Grammy Museum. The Anguilla Music Academy offers classes, programming, scholarships and The Grammy's Music Revolution Project to hundreds of students from Anguilla, St Martin and the US. The Grammy Museum Gallery features interactive exhibits, programming, and education focusing on music performances and the recording arts from the tremendous archive of the Recording Academy's Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The Center also includes the AMA Digital Media Lab and AMA Hall.

All revenue generated by AMA Recording goes towards enabling programmatic opportunities that The AMA Center provides for the people of Anguilla and the broader Caribbean region.

Brett Acoustics provided custom acoustical products and installation/buildout. Canova Audio provided audio installation.
