Outlier Inn Recording is located in beautiful Woodbridge, NY, near Woodstock. The recording studio is part of a larger complex that includes a farm and an inn, which makes it a great place for a relaxing back-to-nature recording project.
The control room is built around a 72-input modified Neve VR console. Behind the console is a special cooling system to draw cool air through the console and under the floor to an exhaust, keeping the console from overheating. This room features diffsorptive wall treatments on the side walls and slatted diffusors in the rear of the room. Main in-wall monitors are ATC SCM110's, tri-amplified with remote ATC power amps and crossovers. Outboard gear includes units by Manley, Crane Song, Tube-Tech, Anthony DiMaria Labs, Universal Audio, Empirical Labs, dbx, Moog, and Eventide.
Acoustical treatments were built and installed by Brett Acoustics, and technical wiring services were performed by Canova Audio.
