Noise freak is a sound design, post-production, editing, voice-over, and mixing room owned and operated by Nick Daley. Nick does work for a number of TV and radio networks, including ABC, CBS, FOX, E!, Cinemax, and MTV, as well as working with Grammy nominated producer BT.
This room features a cockpit-style console configuration designed to make work-flow easy for a single engineer-sound designer. The room acoustics employ RPG diffusion and diffsorption and a variety of different bass-trapping techniques.
Equipment includes an Avid Icon D-Command console, ATC SCM25A active tri-amped monitors, ProTools HD with HD converters, and outboard gear by SSL, Focusrite, BBE, Universal Audio, etc. All of the acoustical construction was done by Brett Acoustics.
